About Me

The Expert Adviser

IMG_2341.jpg

I am Theresa Hedrington, a lifelong learner who believes that if you are not part of the problem, you are part of the solution.

As a parent, grandparent, and educator whose life has been touched by special needs, I learned how to stand my ground and not allow others, situations, or circumstances to govern how life would be. I took it upon myself to ask clarifying questions, become an active member of the decision-making process, and ensure my rights and my family were honored, acknowledged, and respected.

Life changes will happen either positively or negatively. However, the response brings about results that will allow empowerment to manifest. Achieving step-by-step milestones we encounter in life, from the smallest to the largest, makes the difference. Throughout my 20 years of education and administrative work, I've earned a reputation for being one of the most notable educational consultants in the Five Boroughs and  New York area. The interests of my clients are always my priority, and I go above and beyond to ensure they get the results they need.
Whether you're new or have experience with special education, you may need advice on advocating for your child(ren) or would like an advocate on matters big or small - I'm your go-to source. Reach out today to set up a meeting; let's talk!
